Ultimate Weapon: Ultima Weapon Great name, isn't it? Cloud's Ultimate
Weapon is the Ultima Weapon. Anyway, you will gain this from an enemy... guess who. The Ultimate Weapon! If you need any help
with this boss, we've got an excellent tutorial on this site.
Power-Up: Ultimate Weapon's power increases the closer Cloud's current HP amount is to his MaxHP amount. (The higher
the HP-to-MaxHP ratio, the higher the power.)

Level 4 Limit: Omnislash Cloud's Omnislash limit is one of those that
are "hidden in plain sight" yet extremely hard to get. This is because you might be able to figure out where and how to get
it, but the actual getting is the hard part.
For those of you who haven't found it, the Omnislash is one of the prizes you can receive when you get enough Battle Points
at the Battle Square in the Gold Saucer. However, it costs a lot of battle points -- about 32,000 points!
Now, all you need to do is win enough Battles. Be sure you have tons of GP available (I would suggest at least 1000 --
you probably won't even use half of it, but better to be safe than sorry) and tons of time on your hands (don't plan anything
for a day and you should be OK). Luckily, GP and Time would be the only things you can possibly lose. You cannot really die
in these fights. But since you cannot exit the Square without losing all your points, you cannot save, and this would be an
extremely risky endeavor anyway because a sudden power outage could suddenly erase 20,000 hard-earned points. Be aware.

Ultimate Weapon: Premium Heart Tifa's Ultimate Weapon is located back
at Midgar, but you can't get it in Disc 1 and you can't get it during the raid on Midgar in Disc 2. That's because it's in
Wall Market and it isn't available until later in the game. But in order to go back, you have to find the Key to Midgar. I've
already written up a nice walkthrough that deals with this whole thing, including where to find the Premium Heart:
Power-Up: The Premium Heart does more damage the higher Tifa's limit break meter is.

Level 4 Limit: Final Heaven There's a piano in Tifa's old room back
at her house in Nibelheim. Her limit is hidden among the pages of the music book on the piano, hidden by her former mentor,
Zangan. You won't find it, though, unless you play a specific but familiar tune on the piano. It's played during Cloud's flashback
in Kalm all the way back in Disc 1, but chances are, you're not going to write it down or remember it all the way until when
you return to Nibel. This tune has to be played by pressing the following buttons: X, Square, Triangle, L1+Triangle, L1+Square,
X, Square, Triangle, L1+X, O, X, Square, and X. The earliest time you can possibly do this and have it work is at the start
of Disc 2, and you can always come back at any time after that if you missed it.
You should also have Tifa in your party when you play the tune. You can receive 1 gil from the piano if Tifa's not in your
party and you play the tune right. If she is in the party, you will also receive 1 gil for playing the tune slightly
wrong (i.e. playing the first five notes and stopping). You only get the break if: Tifa's in your party, the tune is played
correctly, and it is played at any time in Disc 2 or beyond

Guard Stick This weapon is initially equipped.
Umbrella The Umbrella is a prize that can be won from the Gold Saucer's
Speed Square, if you can get more than 5000 points. It is available only while Aeris is still alive.
Ultimate Weapon: Princess Guard Aeris's Ultimate Weapon can be found
in the Temple of the Ancients. It is in a chest through the four o'clock door in the Clock Room. It is the only Ultimate Weapon
that you can get in the first disc, and to balance things out it has only seven slots (three Links, one single) rather than
the four linked slots that every other one has.
Power-Up: The description of this weapon states: "Raises Power when you need to protect others nearby". This means
that the Princess Guard's power increases when the HP of Aeris's allies are getting near critical.

Level 4 Limit: Great Gospel Aeris's Level 4 Limit is one of the hardest
to find, yet ultimately useless for most people because by the time they find it, Aeris is already dead. If not, then she
dies before she is raised to a sufficient level to use it. And no, contrary to the belief of some players out there, you can
get the limit before Aeris dies.
The first thing you have to do is enter the Sleeping Man's Cave, which is found in the mountains on the first continent
in the Junon/Condor Area. However, it appears to be blocked by a river, which you cannot cross the first time you go through
the area. But here is where most people give up: they assume that you can only get there via the airship or a Gold Chocobo,
by which time Aeris would already be dead! However, you can cross it with the Buggy. Here's how. After getting the Buggy (right
after the long Gold Saucer segment) ride it to Costa Del Sol. Don't get off the Buggy. You will enter the town normally. Then
just board the Ferry to Junon. Exit the town, and you will be on the first continent still riding the Buggy! Now simply just
drive it to the river and find the shallow point to cross it. Get off, and enter the cave.
You'll find the Sleeping Man lying on a bed in there. Talk to him. He'll tell you how many wins you've got in the battles.
By this time you should have well over a hundred wins. You need to get the last two digits of the number to match (i.e. 433,
622, or even 111) and he will give you the Key Item Mythril. (Note: If you run away too much, he'll tell you that instead
of telling you the wins. However, he'll still give you the Mythril when you have the correct number of wins, but you'll just
have to guess how much you've got.)
Leave the cave and return to the second continent. When you reach the Gongaga area you may notice a small house on a peninsula.
If you've been here before, Cloud may have told you that whoever owns the place isn't home. It won't open till later in the
game, although I'm not sure when. If not now, try again later. I'm certain it should be open by the time you get past the
Temple of the Ancients segment. Whenever you do get in, talk to the man inside (he's known as the Weapons Maker) and give
him the Mythril. He will then reward you with one of two items placed inside his house -- one will be the Great Gospel, the
other is the Gold Armlet. Don't get the armor; you will be able to get those later on.

in Disc 2. This is easy to miss, so be careful -- instead of leaving the underground tunnels to fight Proud Clod, you're going
to have to take a detour. Continue going up the tunnels on the right until you reach a dead end and there is a ladder. Climb
up and out, and enter the Shinra building. It's more or less deserted by now, so you can explore the building without any
trouble -- and you can pick up whatever items you've missed or could not get in Disc 1 (like those chests in the store on
the bottom floors). Once you've got the HP Shout, you could leave and go back to face Proud Clod.
Power-Up: HP Shout's power increases the closer Cait Sith's current HP amount is to his MaxHP amount. (The higher
the HP-to-MaxHP ratio, the higher the power.)

Flayer The Flayer is a prize that can be won from the Gold Saucer's
Speed Square, if you can get more than 5000 points.
Ultimate Weapon: Venus Gospel The Venus Gospel can be received from
an old man who is standing around in the Rocket Town after the rocket has been launched. He's right in front of the Item Shop
(in the rear of the town, slightly to the left off-center). You need to talk to him 3 times in a row. I missed him before
because he blends in so well with the background, but he's there.
Power-Up: Venus Gospel's power increases the closer Cid's current MP amount is to his MaxMP amount. (The higher
the MP-to-MaxMP ratio, the higher the power.)

Finding Yuffie Kisaragi
Yuffie is one of the "secret" characters in Final Fantasy VII. In other words, she's an optional character; you don't need
to beat the game with her. Of the two hidden characters in the game, Yuffie is the easiest to find. Here's how to do it.
Simply run around the forest areas of Junon or Gongaga until you meet the "Mystery Ninja" enemy (this is actually Yuffie).
Upon beating her, you will be given the chance to talk to her. There is a Save Point in the back, but do not save.
Talk to her, but don't say anything insulting or stupid that might risk hurting her feelings. The conversation goes basically
like so.
Yuffie: You spikey-headed jerk! One more time, let's go one more time!
Cloud: Not interested.
Yuffie: You're pretty scared of me, huh!?
Cloud: .....petrified.
Yuffie: I'm really gonna leave! REALLY!
Cloud: Wait a second!
Yuffie: You want me to go with you?
Cloud: .....That's right.
Yuffie: All right! I'll go with you!
Cloud: .....Let's hurry on.
And that's the way it goes. Pretty easy, huh? Once you've got her, the sub-quest at Wutai is opened.

All weapons except for the following are long range: Razor Ring, Hawkeye.
Rising Sun The Rising Sun can be stolen from Diamond Weapon.
Oritsuru The Oritsuru can be found at Wutai, in the caves of the Da-Chao
statues when you receive the Key Item Leviathan Scales.
Ultimate Weapon: Conformer Yuffie's Conformer weapon is hidden deep
inside Gelnika, the sunken Shinra plane. It's located in the first Cargo Room, the one whose entrance is right beside the
Save Point. Go down to the bottom floor of the room, and to the left. A chest is in front of the barrels on the back side
of the room, but it is hard to see because it is obscured beneath the pipes. Unlike Barret's Ultimate Weapon, you do not
need to have Yuffie in the party to get it.
Power-Up: The Conformer's power increases when the level of the enemy is higher.
This may or may not be because of the weapon's power-up, but Conformer works very well with Morph - sometimes, doing as
much as 5000-9999 damage per morph!

her father, Godo, in her sub-quest at Wutai. You can do this at any point in the game as long as you have Yuffie and you could
get to Wutai (the soonest is with the Tiny Bronco). It'll be harder to do this early on, but presents more of a challenge
than if you came here in Disc 3, although you could if you wanted.

All but the following weapons are Long Range: Shotgun, Lariat.
Ultimate Weapon: Death Penalty Vincent's Death Penalty weapon can be
found late in Disc 2 or in Disc 3, hidden deep within a secret area of the World Map. In Disc 2, take the sub and go around
"behind" the more western continent (the Costa del Sol/Corel area). There's a small tunnel that you can go through. At the
end, come out of the water. You'll find yourself in a small lake made in the crater of a mountain that you couldn't reach
any other way. Land the sub and walk off, then walk into the large waterfall. (Note: You can also get here via Black/Green/Gold
Chocobo, if you've got one of 'em.) Inside the waterfall you'll meet Lucrecia who will explain some more of the background
behind Vincent. There won't be anything new here until after you kill Ultimate Weapon -- once you do, come back, and lying
in the back of the room will be the Death Penalty as well as Vincent's level 4 limit, Chaos.
Power-Up: Death Penalty's attack power increases the more enemies Vincent kills. The count starts from the beginning
of the game, so that the weapon should be fairly well powered-up by the time you get it.
Power-Up Calculations: This hasn't been done for any other weapon, yet, but we're figuring that the damage Vincent's
Death Penalty does is dependent on three factors: His strength, his level, and of course, the number of enemies Vincent has
killed. The formula is as so: damage = (strength
* 10) + (level * 10) + (enemies killed) A level 75 Vincent with 62 Strength stat and 500 enemies killed will do approximately
(750+620+500) = 1870 points of damage. Of course, this does not take into account the level and strength of enemies - the
actual damage done may be slightly more toward lower-level enemies and lower toward higher-level enemies. Anyway, this is
speculation, and hopefully it is a good estimation. Feel free to let us know if you discover otherwise.
